Our Mission
Our Mission is to mobilize, motivate and sensitize non-school going girls; hawking, street begging, or act as beggars' aid, that are between the age of 6-18, from economically and socially backward communities of lake chad region.
Love
Showing love and support to all female child in remote areas of Nigeria and enrolling them into school.
Compassion
create awareness and encourage enrolment for all girl children not in school to primary up to secondary education
Charity
Helping communities without power supply and water to gain access to electricity and water supply.

Dr ZARAH YUSUF, FOUNDER/CEOPortrait of Lake Child Initiative is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 9 December, 2019 by Dr. zahra yusuf.
PORTRAIT OF LAKE CHILD INITIATIVEA non-profit, Non-Governmental Organization, it was found in February, 2019. PLCI was established to portray the image of the children living across the Lake Chad region of Africa, with sole aim providing solutions to problems affecting out of school children especially Girls. PLCI has it head office located in Damaturu Yobe state, Nigeria.
